The in-built weather alerts of Baron Critical Weather offer fully automated notifications directly to your phone. Users have the option to monitor up to four locations for severe weather alerts, including their phone's current location.

Alert types available for subscription include:

One of the main features of the app is the Baron Tornado Index (BTI), which assigns a simple 1-to-10 ranking on the likelihood of a tornado within an approaching storm cell. This index offers local and precise information compared to regional alerts.
